Bucky and the Doctor dream....
Stupid plot tribbles....
This is a bit old, it was after CA:WS.
It's just that I don't remember if I ever posted about it....
So after CA:TWS, Bucky has pulled Steve out of the water and is hiding. Cue the TARDIS showing up, the Doctor sticking his head out and asking if Bucky would like to travel with him.
So which Doctor and companion? Imagine Leela and Bucky together. Is it the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith? Or Ace and Bucky attacking Daleks or Cybermen. (Ace with her bat, and Bucky with his arm.)
Imagine after Bucky comes back to Earth... a Dalek saying "You are a Great Enemy of the Daleks! You must be EXTERMINATED!" in front of Steve.
Extra for this wild plot.... Doc ends up dropping Bucky off on Bannerman road in Ealing and introducing him to Sarah, or dropping him off with Sarah if they traveled together. Sarah invites him in, and introduces him to Luke, and Luke's friends.
Bucky takes up living with them.
Later Mycroft Holmes (from Sherlock) attempts to recruit Bucky. Mr Holmes mentions that he'd like to also recruit Luke, which ends up getting him punched in the face by Bucky.
(Note, Mycroft had earlier made his escorts leave their guns in the car, because he knew Bucky would hit him, and he didn't want his men drawing guns on The Winter Soldier. Even though he told them to not show any weapons, he realized that when Bucky hit him, the guns would come out.) So now Bucky somehow finds himself working for Mycroft Holmes.
