Finally!
Dashing off a quick note about my fibroids.
Tuesday, I got a call from the surgery coordinator at Matlock OBGYN. She got a letter that the decision by the insurance has been over turned.
I wanted the Acessa treatment, but the insurance said it was not an acceptable treatment. (Go look at Dr. Bruce Lee on Facebook. Or google Acessa.)
So I will be going to go have my fibroids 'burned out' by a laroscopic(sp?) style instrument on November 30. Dr. Lefholz says that usually she can get away with one hole, but they might need to make two in my case.
I can't drive myself home, so I'll need a ride home. I sent a text to my uncle to see if he can drive me back, but no response yet.
I'm going though, I don't care if I have to hire someone.
