Bugeyedmonster's Stomping Grounds

My cat Thomas was sick a couple days ago. He was just sleeping and not eating any. So my dad and I had an interesting day taking him into the vet. (I had worked the night before and I had to get up early to help get him in the pet carrier. Yes, it can take two people to get him into the cat carrier.)

On the way to the vet, my dad hit a pot hole and flattened the tire. Then while attempting to change the tire, he accidentally locked himself out of the car. He called me and I got up, threw on some jeans (left the tee shirt I was wearing for sleep on) and took the spare car key to him. Since he was changing the tire, I ended up taking the cat to the vet.

Thomas has either infection or inflammation. His white cell count is up. But at least most everything else is fine. His heart is slightly enlarged. (He's 11 years old plus he's a scaredy cat.) He also got ex rays to make sure he didn't have blockage.

I get to pick him up tomorrow. I didn't even ask about the bill.

I'm glad that my parents are willing to help me with the costs. Otherwise I don't know how I would pay for all these tests. I am going to be sooo broke.

I need a better paying job or more hours at both current part time ones that I have. Or maybe I should look for a sugar daddy?

Anyway, just venting...
